Just moved to Kansas city
Anyone In or around this area? Looking for a place that I can safely wash my car by myself. Been here almost a week and my car is filthy and I have no means of having a hose. I'm thinking of trying to find a self serve car wash bay

Greetings! You've probably found a way to wash your car already by this point but if not let me know what area of the city you moved to and I'll give a few tips. One of the most popular north of the river is the Olympic on N. Oak: 6220 N Oak Trafficway. They also have a location off of Shawnee Mission Pkwy in Kansas if that's more convenient.
Welcome to KC, and I'm sorry you had to move here |

Glad you found a place! I hadn't checked the midwest forum in a while but will more so now that I know there are at least 3 of us here in KC. Great to meet you both!

I am new to the thread and joined due to me picking the wife up a used 2014 x5 50i. So far she is loving it and I told her all the guys would be jealous of her. I have always used the better wash on North Oak with no complaints.

reviving this thread since it's been a couple years and car washes have come and gone. anyone in kc have a list of car washes?
I have been using WaterWay with their Monthly Membership. It's a drive through wash with various options, some where they drive the car through the wash for you, dry it down, vacuum it, tires and mats (if you choose) and free full upgrade Tuesdays! They just raised prices tho to $45 for blue (used to be $39), it's a drive for me (I'm in downtown area), and I know drive through washes aren't the best for your paint. So I'm looking to change! The paint factor honestly isn't a huge deal for me since my car is well used and scratched and scuffed up, needs a good paint job or vinyl skin. I know of Kevin's Car Wash (North of river, drive tube, provides vacuums, rags, mats wash station with brushes and hoses, and so so many cleaning products) Midtown Car Wash (if not obvious by the name, Midtown KC lol, self service. |
