New Member introducing myself
Greetings all!
Just purchased a new to me, 2013 Melbourne Red 335i xDrive Sport Line and wanted to say hello. Every time I get a different car or bike the first thing I like to do is sign up for the best forum and get to know things bout what I'm riding or driving from other owners. My wife and I live in downtown Kansas City, so if you're in the area and see some idiot zipping around... feel free to let me know how silly I look with this big stupid grin on my face! Previously I had a g35x. Let me tell you, what a step up this is. I've always wanted a 3 series after growing up reading car mags who would engrain the idea that it's the most perfect balance of space, handling, power, and luxury out there. One week in and I'm starting to understand why. We test-drove the new Q50, C-Class, IS/RC... and decided on a used 335 because while all the others had things we enjoyed this was the perfect mix for us. Going to black out the grills, add the M spoiler, grab a tune and a few other minor tweaks before even putting 500 miles on her |

Nice and congrats! The grill was super easy and looks great on your color! What tune are you thinking?

I need to get off my you know what and get some PICS up for sure.
So far, I have added the JB1 bought in the member's section in great shape. I doubt I will do the full JB4, only due to utter laziness... but anything is possible I have also added the M-Perf spoiler in black, did the grills, made all the emblems red/black, had the 397s powdercoated to fix the curb rash on when bought, added the AFE scoop, did the exhaust flap mod, updated the NAV to 2017 with some help from the forum, plasti-dipped the faux diffuser cutout, tinted all the windows from Midwest Tint. I think that's it. All before 500 miles

since you've been in the area for a while, where do you go for service? I want to avoid the dealership because i would get more bang for my buck at one of the many local spots. in my search, i found: AutoBahn Motors (bmw specialists) https://www.autobahnkc.com/ Hafkemeyer Motors (the original kcmo bmw dealer!) http://hafkemeyermotors.com/ German Auto Service https://gasnkc.com/services/ Blue Label Racing https://www.bluelabelracing.com/services Kevin's KC Brakes and Auto Repair https://kcbrakeandautorepair.com/specials/ |
