Winter Tire Recommendations for Colorado
Hello All,
Moving to Colorado soon and need to grab some winter tires for my RWD 330i. I have 18” staggered wheels from the sport package, and the only tires i can seem to find on Tire rack that fit my standard wheels are the Pirelli Sottozero series II. I am looking to replace my 330i with an xDrive G20, but supply is currently low due to Covid so finding a lease hacker worthy deal has been tough. Any recommendations out there for other options, maybe used Sets in the Colorado Springs area? Thanks for the help! |

Have you looked at Nokian Hakkapeliitta R tires? These tires are unstudded snow tires with superb traction in winter driving conditions. Downside: can feel soft and mushy.
Winter performance tires - like Pirelli Sottozero Series II or III - are an excellent choice. I had a set of Pirelli Sottozero Series II (run flat) when residing on the East Coast. Great tires. |

Recently relocated to Colorado as well. I am running the Sottozero 3s on BBS SRs, best winter set I've ever had.

At least in Aurora / Denver they keep the streets pretty clean and snow usually melts fairly quick. Unless your in the mountains, I wouldnt sweat snow tires all that much.
