I had mine protected with XPEL paint protection film when I had the rest of my car filmed. Then ceramic coating on top. No swirls

It matches the wrap I put on my mirror caps. I opted for a textured CF wrap rather than gloss, knowing that a gloss wrap would eventually get swirls. Texture CF will swirl too, but you won't see it.
