it ll be nice to see him around another year more at least.. but i hope he wont literally get in a fight with his engineer next year cause recently sometimes he s like a ticking bomb already..

It wasn't a shining example of being cool under pressure, but it is far from the first time that his engineer has either disregarded a question or been unable to understand Kimi.

Kimi didn't ask how long the penalty was going to be, he just heard that. If you can't trust your engineer to understand and reply to a simple question in a low stress situation, how can you trust him to give you critical information during a passing attempt etc. I can understand Kimi's frustration.

True but could be the engineer had other tricky info to deal with at the same time so the simple question passed over the head.

I have some older coworkers that I think fit a similar program as Kimi does, they are old enough and successful enough to retire from what they are doing now, don't see a point as their current job is pretty simple, they make good money and don't have any big plans for what they will do after they leave.

Kimi doesn't have plans on this position leading to anything but enjoys it enough to keep doing it and performs well enough that they decide he is better than the next best option.
