Hello everyone.

Long story short: I have downloaded map update for my f31 and inserted USB to my car USB port. It recognized map update asked for activated code so I clicked cancel. Now after canceling that update I cant even use my old maps.

I tried extracting that code with E-SYS:


Also I tried to change application number to 0xDE, but I believe its for NBT.

It says "No FSC could be read from ecu.."

Is it true that I cannot generate map code for my nav? Or is there any other way?

Entrynav is not 1B, it is DF, but there is NO available public generator for Route map code.

Yes, needs FSC code.

Well yea, but I mean it was working before inserting USB. So I hoped that there is some other way to get it back.

Just to clarify, which head units code can be generated with public generators ? It says CIC and NBT. I thought that entry nav is CIC as well ? Which NBT's can be generated?

It is not DE it is DF and you can buy from esysx or somwhere on ebay

I tried to pull my FSC from Entrynav using E-Sys and the following settings:

Diagnostic Address: 0x63
Application Nr: 0xDF
Upgrade Index: 0x1

Clicked Identify and it popped up with HU_EntryNav

When I try to Start the StoreFSC job, it says 'Please open a FSC file first. [G043]'

Any ideas?

you don't need to "store FSC", there are buttons "read" and "save" that's all you need.
