440 is standard electric seats and auto box? Those are the main two options s I always need

It didn’t mention the length of PCP term.

If I fake my own death can I get out of my current order? That was barons too and an ‘interesting’ mix of those two offers

Had one solid offer.

440i glacier silver
M sport plus
Reverse camera
Folding mirrors

5250 bmw contribution
6437 dealer contribution
429 a month on 8k miles and they are chucking in gardx and gap (I know I know!)
15812 gmfv

Thoughts on the deal? Also glacier silver... Just not sure.

Looks decent. Just missing adaptive. I wasn't sure before owning a car with it. It would be one of the first things on the list now. Truly great option for around £500. Should be std to be honest.
Comfort mode much more cosseting, even on 19s. In sport mode, it firms up nicely for a sharper more controlled turn in.

Good stuff. It feels a little light vs your offer as you were double the mileage and a few extra options in total but if that's their max fair enough.

It feels very competitive but not quite "only remaining stock car, end of year 0%apr, levels of magic! I'm gonna maybe push for a service pack!

Really appreciate your input here. Adaptive is something I'd love but nobody has found one yet with m sport plus as well surprisingly.

Seriously - once I’ve put an offer in, do I just take the loss and wait a couple of years? The car I’m buying is enough for me, and the budget is affordable - but two weeks later and 0% with big contributions is just a little frustrating.

I could literally afford to lose my deposit and still be well ahead with a new car. But it is probably being built now..

Especially considering I need electric seats and auto box which on a 420 is £2635 of options, but is included in a 440i

What is the car and deal you've signed up for? Have you actually put money down?

If it's just a small deposit then surely they can find you a stock 440i? Or just walk away and lose it for a much better deal elsewhere is an option.

Put £1000 deposit down on a 420i GC. Auto/electric seats/surround view/sport plus/digital dash. but is a factory built car which is what perhaps makes it more complicated as the dealer will then have a low spec car they may not easily shift.

£2000 total deposit from me, monthly is too horrible to post here.

I guess it’s a cest la vie moment and a reminder to check on here before my next car. And definitely not after..

Cancel it and switch the deposit to the 440i, the dealer should accommodate you.

As goodbyalfa says, adaptive suspension makes the car if you can get it.

First essential option GC shape
Second essential option 40i
Third essential option adaptive suspension

All the rest is fluff, but nice fluff.

Lol and here's me going coupe and non adaptive based on stock lol

Still a great deal and the coupe looks as good as the GC, just not as practical.

I do wonder if there are more gc than coupes in this stock only 0%apr? I certainly don't dislike the gc it's just I've always focused on the 2 door as my car away from the family motor. We do have a 2 year old so maybe I should look at them!

Where did you see the £449 offer? Can’t see it on barons website and it’s barons that I have my current 420 order in with, so most likely switch. Can see one on sytner but with a larger deposit

Damn, these deals are good

If they'd have pushed the F31 Id probably be in a 340i soon instead of leaving the fold and TBH I just dont get the lack of support - the saloon yes as theyve stopped production but who's buying tourings now???

Id be inclined to mention it to the dealer. They can't keep your deposit unless they can prove it's going to cost them money. Tell them you are unhappy with the deal but would like to stay with them if they can sort something out on a 440i.

Don't worry about non adaptive. I've not got it and love how my car drives, moff who has one of the highest specced cars on here left it off on purpose because he doesn't like adaptive and prefers standard.

I only went for M Sport Plus on mine, which is essential for looks, but don't really miss anything else that I don't have.

My deal was when they were at 2.9%, £606 a month, zero deposit, so equivalent of around £540 to compare to Alfa, but my mileage is 25,000 a year, plus service pack thrown in.

That’s about £330 a month on 8k mikes then? Seems a great deal, especially without 0% finance
