Might help to post a link next time since this isn't a very well known unit.
Looks like a Wagner copy to me.

I am very interested to find more about this. I have been eyeing those for a while. Even if it has half the improvement of the Wagner it might be worth it. Has anybody tried it?

Was just keen to find out people’s thoughts/opinions. Not sure if anyone on here has one fitted, the write up on eBay reads well. |

Yeah, what he writes is nice, but we need somebody with actual results. It really depends how the IC is made. It's larger - yes, so most likely the cooling will be better. Question is: 1) to what degree, 2) how quickly can the IC recover (or how will it heat soak), 3) what kind of turbo lag will it introduce, 4) is it really plug & play etc.. I just had not a great experience with CSF on this (see my other thread).
The price is more than good. Might be worth it to get it and measure . There is 30 days return guarantee - so its the shipping costs that is at risk. And like Farkie said - it looks like Wagner copy - concretely Wagner Evo 2 Performance - he even mentions that its the same size & weight 11,7kg (Wagner Evo 2 perf is 11,5kg). Also the description of compatible cars is 1-1 copy of Wagner if I'm not mistaken. If its a Wagner Evo 2 Perf for that price why not |

I fitted one a few weeks ago
1st it was very well packed 2nd it fitted first time, No problems 3d the quality was first class, And I went over it with a fine toothcomb 4th I could immediately feel the improvement in pick up even before it was mapped I am told the intercooler part is imported from China and then Matt puts his own end cans on but whatever I cant fault it, And it was also very reasonable cost wise!! https://mtcmotorsport.co.uk/mtc-moto...ercooler486444 |

Have you noticed any problems with turbo lag ? Some ICs, even from established manufacturers, have been found to cause real problems with boost lag due to pressure drop across the IC. I will be extending thew engine mods on my car at some point but if I'm going to consider tried and tested manufacturers such as ATM and ER then I'll want to be very sure that trying an 'indy' option won't be a case of 'buy cheap, buy twice'. Thanks.

I fitted an eBay cooler that was £170 which are the MTEC coolers without the markup.
On a stock car I went to 387bhp and 590ft/lb. The quality was excellent and the mechanic that fitted the cooler thought it was a £600+ item. |

Have you noticed any downsides such as increased turbo lag due to a plenum effect in the larger IC ?

The car ran 310bhp on Unicorns dyno when stock so you could say there's no benefit unless mapped although their dyno is known to read low. |
