$100 for Amazon... need suggestions

What’s the best purchase you’ve made on Amazon for your F3X? I’ve got a gift card that’s burning a hole in my pocket and need ideas. Some thoughts I’ve had: painted reflectors, some new detail tools, etc.

Any suggestions?

My last amazon purchase using a birthday gift (card) was the FMIC needed for stage 2.

Any noticeable difference in handling as a result of this? I would prefer the car to be a bit tighter

I have the OBX Racing Sports bar... was about a hundred or so.

I cant say its going to make a world of difference but I can say that I did feel some difference.

I would only choose a welded, one piece design. Make sure the car is perfectly flat and torque bolts to spec. This will "lock" the two strut towers together, therefore increasing rigidity of the chassis. It definitely does work but how much exactly is up for debate.

I dont regret my purchase.

+1

The GPlus intercooler for $200 is very hard to beat, value wise. It definitely fits and definitely keeps IAT's down as well.

I get Amazon GCs every Christmas and I always buy tools! Best so far had been the Torq DA polisher, and an air compressor.

The polisher is awesome, tackles and scuff and light scratches with ease.

There is already a tower brace on our cars. I can't imagine there'd be a massive difference by adding another one between the strut towers. I feel like it's one of those things that people do just to do, not because it actually makes any difference.

It definitely seems like vendors are promoting this mod more than individual users lauding its usefulness. The F30 chassis is pretty rigid and there is a lot of bracing already. I feel like upgraded suspension is far more useful for our cars which have strangely compliant suspension tuning for a BMW.

Speaking for myself personally, I'd scrape up another bill and order a $200 intercooler considering the positive results posted by numerous users.

Otherwise, I'd go with some filters, an wifi or bluetooth obd reader or jack pads or deep lug nut socket etc.

Dual Slat gloss kidney grilles

I just got a Detailing Brush set

https://www.amazon.com/Master-Detail...gateway&sr=8-3

and "Chemical Guys Tire Brush" and they're awesome.

Meguiars Endurance tire gel and applicator would go a long way too.

good luck!

This fits all your movies so you can watch Mad Max Fury Road while going 5mph in rush hour traffic fantasizing about driving a War Rig right over the zombies in their Prius' in front of you while rubbing a powdered donut on your face screaming "WITNESS MEEE!!!"

I had a 128gb in my F30, but upgraded to this newer 256gb for my i3 and M3 CS:
