Help Please (Springs)
I have recently purchased a 2nd hand 335d with only 6500 miles. It feels a lot firmer than all my previous 335d's and 435d's I have had over the past 5 years. Today I checked the springs and removed this label. Can anyone help or confirm what they are please?

All the F30 springs I've seen have a label with a two letter code like this.
For example for my 328i S-drive F30 the rears are ED There are a large number of part numbers for springs depending on engine, body style, X-drive or not and also options fitted There is a spring table online where you can calculate the correct springs for your particular car. https://www.parts.bmwgroup.com/tetis...D=WebETK_START Username eu111111 Password bmwetk1 Click on 'Specific Parts Search' then 'Spring Table' Enter your details and the correct springs should be displayed for your car Unfortunately I'm not sure there's a two-letter code to part number table Last edited by Sasquartch; 05-22-2019 at 05:49 AM.. |

I have had the following
Pre LCI 335d LCI 335d LCI 435d LCI 335d GT and now this LCI 335d But this one seems a lot firmer suspension than any of the others, with a lot less body roll. The label also says Lower on it!

No idea why this one feels firmer, they haven’t left the transit blocks in have they? Were your other ones LCI’s, and this one is an LCI2? |
