335D F30 Service
I had my 335D serviced - oil and filter, brake fluid last Nov at 20,000 miles by an Independent.
Im not sure when the air filter, fuel filter or cabin filter will need replacing as the idrive just states next service due time / mileage. My plan would be to change the filters myself and have the indi complete the oil and oil filter changes. When is the other items recommended and is there anything else that needs replacing on a schedule |

It's due every third service.
Good practice is to change the fuel filter every 20-40,000 miles and air filter every 12-15,000 miles. The low number being minimum and high one being maximum. I change micro filter every year. Sometimes mid year I give it a vacuum. I wouldn't leave it more than 2 years. I replaced my air filter with a piper cross filter and it has been clean for 20,000 miles. I checked it at 10,000 then 20,000. I think I will clean it anyway this month. |

I have a 5-year service plan, and I was told the air filter and plugs would be changed at the next service which would be at a nominal 36,000 miles. The service indicator indicates another 3,000 miles to go although its passed the 36k figure, so it will have done 40k miles by the time they are replaced. Once the service is done (I can't see it making another service by the time it's done 50,000 miles), I think I will have the filters replaced more frequently by an independent if I can't do it myself.
