Claying, polishing and waxing
Today I spent 7 hours claying, polishing and waxing and still have the front and rear bumpers to do tomorrow.
20 months after getting my car with BMW Seal and Protect I thought it was time to wax it as the Seal and Protect was well and truly gone (supposed to last 3 years ) Decided to use the pot of Auto Glym High Definition Wax that I had bought for my last car. Used Dodo Juice clay and lube, doing one panel at a time, Auto Glym Super Resin Polish by hand, finally finishing with the HD Wax. The claying was hard work, and did every inch of the paintwork to get it silky smooth. I had to resort to Auto Glym Paint Renovator and Tar Remover to get some stubborn marks off. Side skirts had lots of marks to remove as did the lower part of the doors. Pleased with the result so far. Hoping for a dry night and finish tomorrow, and then get some beading again when it rains.

Another three hours today and finally finished. Don't plan doing that for a while. ...glad I have finished but the car almost looks new.

What are you talking about, it looks better than new. You will never find a car on the dealers lot that look so grand as yours does. That is the true labor of love. Nice going!
