Any thoughts on the current 6 interior (post LCI) vs the new interiors eg the g30? Is it starting to look dated and the tech being being a bit superceeded by the new generations you think?

I think the 6 feels more premium, more leather and less plastic. The g30 feels a bit more modern with the ambient lighting. A lot of gloss black plastic though which i dont like.

Incidentally, Carbon black is a beautiful colour for the 10 seconds that it's clean...it looks AWFUL with even the tinest bit of dirt though.
Anyone any ideas on how to keep it clean? |

Yeh that’s nice! Can you tell me (or anyone who has driven a 6 series), how does it feel in the drivers seat and how does it compare to the 3 series? I.e. do you feel lower and more enclosed? Any thoughts appreciated.

If anyone is looking at buying a 6...
a Tip from me: Look for "Comfort seats" option. Mine is fitted with "sports seats", which, frankly, is a ridiculous option to have in a car like this. They are far too hard, and inappropriate to a car which is basically designed for effortless motorway cruising |

The availibility of Comfort seats is one factor which would push me towards a 5 Series (the smallest BMW which can have them). |

I went the other way, still miss my 640d. However it's far too large for where I live, and was stolen by a 16 year old from a shit area near-ish me called the Cray's. They are awesome cars. M5 next I think....
