Opinions/Suggestions: 2016 320i Xdrive brake upgrade

Just picked up my first and not the last BMW, its a 2016 320i Xdrive. Can the veterans/experts here give me there opinions/suggestions on BRAKE caliper upgrade from stock?

**I don't need suggestions on selling the 320i and getting something else, I really just would like some good information pertaining to this subject.**

INFO: The car is a daily driver, I do not plan to track the car, I do enjoy SPIRITED driving from time to time and looking to upgrade to improve, enhance, upgrade, and better aesthetic look from plain old stock calipers. Upgrading also to 18" wheels.

PROS and CONS of the M Sport Performance 370 calipers vs M Sport 340 calipers. Caliper cost? Brake rotor cost? additional parts cost to fit my car? Availability?

Depends on what you plan on doing with your car really. Daily, track, both, canyon drives, how experienced you are as a driver.

We need more info.

There are countless threads, recent and old. Do some searching and reading, then come back with a specific question.

There is a very wide range of brake upgrades available for an F30. It's difficult to give you specific advice without you providing more context.

There are folks on here trying to enhance their rides with better than stock parts, all the way to those whose imaginations & budgets seem to have no limits. HaHa, I won't give away where I fall in that range.

Are you trying to enhance braking on your daily driver? Are you planning to heavily modify and perhaps even track your car on weekends? Is your priority to have brakes that look nice or are a different color? Are you planning to install any of this yourself?

What's your budget range? I could recommend better brake pads to install yourself for $200 that might meet most of your braking needs. Or I could tell you to spend $2,500 or more to get an M Performance Brake kit installed. Did you just gag on that price or did you actually start to consider it?

A limiting factor is whether you have 17" wheels or 18" wheels. Some F30 brake calipers require a minimum of an 18" wheel to fit. You can still fit awesome brakes under 17" wheels. Wheel size is just a design factor that has to be known from the beginning of the project.

Hope this helps!

Pardon for leaving this bit of detail out. My car is a daily driver, I have no plans to track the car, I'm mainly looking to enhance, upgrade, and improve aesthetics of the brake calipers. I am a true believer in "it's better to have and not need that to need and not have" when the time comes!

I am upgrading the wheels from the stock 17" to 18", adding H&R springs, and stage 1 piggyback for now. I'm being realistic when it comes to HP potential since it is a 320i.

I guess I'm wondering if the M Sport Performance 370 calipers versus the M Sport 340 brake calipers is overkill for what I'm trying to do.

M-perf 370mm and 345mm... some 18" wheel clearance issue (aftermarket)

M-sport 340mm and 330mm... a little cheaper. Will fit on 18". Some clearance issue for 17"

BREMBO GT .... you have money do it for looks
STOPTECH big brakes.... why?

Cheapers upgrade for you is run high friction brake pads. Will damage rotor faster but it make your car stop faster.

What is your budget for the brakes upgrade?

What 18" wheels are you planning to install? OEM or aftermarket?
