No, nothing above 320. And since 320 is not coming to the U.S., no 6MT in the U.S. period.

Oh I didn't know that - so no 320i with the next generation eh?

I can't rule out future additions, but at the moment it's just 30 and 40.

Trump blinked on that after he had to write a 12B check to farmers. For now anyway, this afternoon is a different story.

Maybe 330e and all electric M3 and regular 3 to compete with model 3.

It is the way of the times. I traded a 6-speed Acura for a paddle shifting 6-speed 335 and loved every minute of it. Now I have a 8-speed 340, and am just as happy.

I manual shift both of those AT vehicles; shifts are fast and crisp. I thought I'd miss the 3rd petal, but I'm fine without it. I did always like that perfect harmony of revs, gear, shifter and clutch. One with the machine I guess.

The concept of manual = sportscar is more of a mentality thing. It's like seeing a V6 Mustang or Camaro drive by. I scoff at it's "inferior nature", but the reality is they still have 300HP/300ft lbs under the hood which is no slouch.

With the v6, or now 4 banger, mustang or Camaro, I'll confess to being in the v8 or nothing group. At least in my mind the point of getting a car like that is to have the na v8. The rest of the car is a compromise imo. I realize the smaller engine mustangs or camaro is plenty capable, but it's not exciting.

I did a factory build for a 340i w/ 6-Spd for this reason also, not certain if a manual would be offered as an option on the new G20.

And even if g20 got everything good, I would still wait for it getting a new drive train. I would not replace a b58 with another b58.
380hp vs 355/320hp sounds pretty good to me.

If you remove total output from the conversation the B58 is probably BMWs best turbo inline 6 to date. Power deliver, efficiency, smoothness and sound are all spot on

No I get that. You're saying that even though it will be assembled in a BMW plant obviously it's going to be an inferior product since it's made by Mexicans?
