Looking at some 08 220m 19 wheels
I am going to pick up some of these wheels from a local. Wanting to get some input about fitment and tire size.
I just lowered my car on some BC coils so I am hoping to not have to roll fenders to get these wheels to fit. Any advice would really help as I am supposed to pick these up this weekend. Seller is not sure is it’s a square set up or staggered. So looking for opinions on both. Thanks Last edited by obert; 07-16-2018 at 08:40 AM.. |

The rears will be super aggressive at 19x9.5 et 23. It will sit 3.7CM further out than stock. The fronts should work as they are 19x8.5 et29. If it was four fronts they would more than likely work without issue.
You'll need proper f3x tire sizes as well.

So this is the tire size I think are stock size for these wheels if they are staggered. Front 245/35R19 Reaf 265/35R19 I just don’t want to buy something that will be so aggressive that I will have a hard time making them work. This is what I am running now. 18x8" ET34 front / 18x8.5" ET47 rear. Last edited by obert; 07-16-2018 at 09:10 AM.. |

Standard f3x aftermarket wheel fitments will range between 19x8.5 et30-40 front and 19x9.5 et35-45 rear. people run either 225/255 f/r or like i am with 235/265. unfortunately the f3x platform cannot swallow wheels like the e9x did.
There are people out there pushing the limits with 9 and 9.5 wheels up front and going to 10.5 out back but you need to run stretched tires and be lowered with camber upwards of -3. Check out the pictures of people with aftermarket wheels thread stickied on this photos/videos forum https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=741571.

255/35/R19 rears - 19x9.5 225/40/R19 fronts - 19x8.5 The wheels sit flush with the fender, no need for any fender rolling. This was as close to OEM as I could get, and you have to be careful with xDrive as well, as the tire size affects the differential. Hope this helps. |

curious how you are fitting the 19x9.5 with an et23 in the back. that thing is going to be mexiflush.
most people run et35 on an 9.5 which sits pretty flush and you are going to be 12mm past that. The 437M wheels will sit 11mm further IN than the 220M wheels and those wheels sit very aggressive for the f3x platform

If they stick out to far with out tires then I will just sell them. I am having doubts about the rears as well. I will test fit this weekend and if it doesn’t look good I will put them up for sale Monday. Last edited by obert; 07-25-2018 at 11:19 AM.. |

Hey obert, are you getting a killer deal on those things or something?
I know it's your car and it's what you like, but imo throwing on some previous generation m3 wheels kinda makes your car look older then it really is... Don't do it !!! If you are looking to keep it OEM I'd go with the 403's, they are similar looking but better looking and current... (and not just because I'm selling some right now ) or go with some aftermarket wheels, there is some great looking wheels out there that are lighter and less expensive then buying used OEM boat anchors(The 220m wheels are 30 lbs ... that is heavy af) Not trying to rain on your parade, it's your car and you can do what you want, but I would reconsider if I were you.
