Normally you have to Lock ACSM to reset the Airbag error.

Try with E-Sys first, and if that does not work, try with Tool32.

E-Sys Transmitter:

• Click "External Applications" in the left menu.
• Click "External Application"
• Double-click "Transmitter"
• Double-click "ACSM verriegelung_schreiben"

Tool32 => ACSM4.prg => steuern_verriegelung_schreiben = control_lock_write

• Launch C:\EDIABAS\Bin\TOOL32.EXE
• Hit F3
• Load C:\EDIABAS\Ecu\ACSM4.prg
• In the "Select Job: F01" window, select steuern_verriegelung_schreiben
• Hit F5
• "Results" window should show "JOB_STATUS = OKAY"

I tried to connect thru ESYS as you have suggest and I got this error:

com.bmw.fat.hsfzException: Could not open socket to 127.0.0.1:6801

Cause by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refusedL connect


Did I miss something in between?

I tried to use TOOLS32 and it keeps on loadin when it is trying to load the file you mention mention.

Any ideas?

I'm new to ESYS so not too sure what VIN is. However, it seems I can connect and pull data from the car, but when I press the send button it give me the error.

Thanks for your help, finally I can connect to my car and reset the airbag warning by clear all DTCs. I'll try to code my car later.

Would you be able to suggest any diagnostic software which can check the car for issue? My previous car is VW Golf GTI and I do own a VAG-COM cable for diagnostic, and it saves me thousands of dollars.....

To FDL Code, you need a Token solution, but with TokenMaster's new Free E-Sys Launcher application with built-in Token Generator, this is something you now easily generate yourself.

You need to get a copy of ISTA/D, Rheingold version. You can use it with ENET interface.

I do have Rheingold 3.45.30, but just like ESYS, I don't have any idea how to connect it properly and use it.

Do you have some docs on how to use the software? it would be nice if you have a copy

No Guide, sorry, and I use ICOM interface myself with ISTA, so I am not all familiar with ENET connection.

Try this:

1. Go into Rheingold Setup (wrench icon)
2. Click VCI Config
3. Select HO -ICOM / ENET direct connection
4. Do a vehicle scan and when prompted for ICOM or ENET select ENET
5. Enter the IP Address (As shown for LAN Adapter under Network Interface Status)
