Custom back box question 330e

I've a 2017 330e running stage 2 MG Flasher. It's got a catless downpipe which includes a silencer. I'm going to be fitting a custom back box. The pipe running into the OEM box is 2¾" it 70mm in diameter. The replacement will have a straight through design. And it will have the same size inlet. But I'm looking at having a dual outlet. Not a single outlet branched into dual tips. So my question is. Will having a single outlet vs dual outlet make any difference to the volume, tone or performance of the car or exhaust system?

Thanks
