Swapped out the m performance racing steering wheel for a regular m sports steering wheel. I did not like the feel of the alcantara . I know it's weird lol

Nice mirrors, I did the same but colour matched.... easy with AW3 and CF blends well with the MG.

No decals.... I think the car looks good either way. I like the contrast on my car. Goes with my Stormtrooper theme....

Same here. I covered my alcantara wheel with an all leather cover.

I'd also gladly go to the piano black dash panel over the alcantara. And to think alc costs more.

Put new shoes on mine, re980 AS, hope the handlng is crisp, coming from a laser steering focus st I’m used to tight steering precision.

I personally had nothing against them. I had to get my side skirts repainted which resulted in the body shop supplying me with a new pair of decals (The previous ones had to get trashed). I figured I had an opportunity to change it up so I sold the decals new in the box.

I cant decide if i want to do the m style or tradition cf mirrors. Did you get them locally? (and btw, I'm loving the m performance exhaust I bought from you, but now i bought a cf 3d quad diffuser and want to do the dual pipe swap you did, it never ends!)

Lol glad your liking the exhaust and following in my nasty habits.

I had the traditional cf mirror caps for over a year and a half. To clarify they are actually the M performance mirror caps.

I've been slowly trending towards the F80 details this summer so I figured when removing the M performance decals I would try the F80 M3 mirror caps. If I had stuck to the F30 M performance look I would have kept the ones I had...just getting bored and trying new things.

Side note: I loved my decals. They were the first thing I did when I converted to m sport. Not having them now though is cool (too) because my side skirts have the sheen/gloss that continues down the car again. With the decals you use to get the matte look.

It was just a different look.

Yes . As soon as I get it cleaned up and get the other harness I need so I can let the harness that goes with the steering wheel go with the steering wheel .

Setup 7/10 [need two different apps, Garmin VIRB and Speak to set everything up]. But ! You can save the vids/pics directly to your phone. Conversion does take some time though.
Video quality 9/10 [1080@30FPS]
All recorded videos are GPS track-stamped with GCS coordinates, date and time, speed, oh and a little Garmin logo ))

I ride with my sun-visors being constantly down [long story … lol], so will be putting it up right in the upper mid-section corner, right above the rearview mirror

Got it late, was already getting dark and have to be up 4.30am tomorrow morning, so will do the wiring this coming Friday and report back with the final looks

Looks good. Easy install. I'm assuming the wire hangs down? Plans to hide it?

You could get the decals (just the M-Perf text part) from ebay, slap them on your glossy skirts, and then you'd have it both ways

I've a black M Sport and I don't see the point in fitting the full decal on the shirts, but I might try the M Performance decal on it's own. Can anyone tell me the exact measurement of where the M Performance decal is located in the side skirts?

You could easily get a micro usb cord and run to glovebox assuming you have USB there.
