Start with adding 2 gallons of Ethanol on a full tank and also you can run Stage 2 93 oct tune by adding 3 gallons of Ethanol.

You're in vegas! People have ethanol there just look up local car enthusiast groups and buy some from them. I also thought I didn't have access to ethanol but then I went on fb and found car guys and now I buy ethanol out of some guys garage

Trying out E for the first time (more than just a gallon to clean up timing) Stage 2 E30 BM3 with AA DP and TU pump. Mixed it up to about E35 to be on the safe side. How does it look, especially the STFT?

https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6296...729b4203862612

I've got the TU pump...what do they change for stage 2+? More timing and more boost?

Your stock turbo is the bottleneck, I think best way to go either a custom tune with low boost high timing or get a bigger turbo or both

2011 BMW 135i  [10.00]
I have a 2019 Supra with just a catless DP and AMS intake manifold.
It's used at the track a fair bit on MHD Stage 2 E30 and goes really well.

I logged some dyno runs today and was wondering if anyone thinks there's much to gain from getting a custom e40 tune?

Thank you , I'll check around. Have you actually check gas stations as well? I saw some forums dated 2020 that said we still had some e85 in town.

Sorry I don't like this log, HP peaks at 5500 RPM and then falls like a rock, Nugget It's better if you make a normal street log maybe the car is not liking the dyno.

Stage 2 HPFP E40 should give you around 21.5 psi boost and same 18 degrees timing.

Adding HP to logs

This is really cool, I added HP to my logs :

https://datazap.me/u/ims/imshp?log=0&data=20-33

Anyone can do it easily with those simple steps:
1- Open csv file using Excel
2- Insert a new column and name it HP
3- Make this formula in the 1st HP cell: (1st cell in Torque Act. Clutch X 1st cell in RPM) / 7121 for NM or 5252 for LB-FT
4- Drag down the HP cell to repeat formula in all cells
5- Upload csv and now you will have HP in your log

Though we don't know how accurate it is in all tunes but it looks cool anyway

I believe my tuner actually uses the torque at clutch value so I think it's accurate. It makes sense for my setup anyway. But I do plan to dyno the car once we are done.

A dyno will not give you a clear answer how accurate it is, though. The exact, individual difference between clutch and wheel torque/power will always remain an unknown/assumption.

560 HP with 25 psi boost and 13 deg timing not sure I think it's around 500-520 HP.

Why does your log include amb. pressure in boost calculation ? also please change units to psi

My tuner prefers them to all be in metric. At my elevation I believe I'm at 26 psi of boost. But I won't know the true numbers until I dyno it. My tuner requested ambient in the boost calculation but you can subtract out the ambient to get the actual boost which I believe is 26 psi.

Yes correct 26 psi I was using a round figure.

Do you have a log with pure 850 and OTS tune ?

I don't actually. I've never done a WOT with a pure850 and OTS. Is that something that would help you greatly or are you just curious because it would be an inconvenience to get it for you but if it will genuinely help you out I can do that for you.

I share this curiosity. All that talk about same boost pressure but upgraded turbos flowing more air at same psi. Would be cool to see logs actually comparing that.

If there's enough interest I have no problem logging an ots tune on the pure850.
