BMW app remote services now free!?

Opened up the My BMW app today and to my surprise, I now have access to remote lock/unlock, ventilation, and vehicle finder features. I've never paid for a Connected Drive subscription.

Are others getting this too? Did BMW finally give up and make these basic features free? lol

Like a crack dealer, they want to give you a taste...once you're hooked you'll pay whatever they ask

Thought it was just a trial but in the connected drive store it says it comes with the vehicle.

Watch the RTTI, map updates and online voice recognition will be the same price as the original full package if you want the extra features lol.
