Nope. I just had Alex perform his HPFP tune for me though after installing a new M340i fuel pump. Car pulls harder 4 sure.
When I asked Alex recently about experience in tuning a dorch or other fuel pump that supports higher power he iterated he's only familiar with tuning on the M340i pump as an upgrade from stock but u can't get the most out of a pure 800 with the M340 pump. |

So, I sent a couple emails to Mission and got no response which unfortunately seems to be very common. Does anyone know the answer to the following questions...
1. I have a MY2020 440 (build date July 2019). I read somewhere that after a certain date BMW started adding extra security which requires a bench flash and I believe I'm past that date. This might only be for the G series variant of the B58 though. Does anyone know if that's the case? 2. I have the MPPSK, which already contains some burbles and backfires off the throttle, so if I don't pay extra for the burble tune, will it now be gone? 3. If I flash back to stock, am I flashing back to my own stock or just some "this is stock" map they have on their own servers which is probably the standard tune. 4. Is this tune actually any better at hiding the flash if I flash back to stock than BM3 or MHD, which I've seen basically the dealer can easily tell. 5. If in the future I pick up a downpipe and want to buy stage 2, do I pay full price or just the difference? |
