How do I sync the driver and passenger side temperature controls?

I have a new-to-me 2020 F32 and still working on understanding the controls and settings. One thing I can't seem to figure out is how to synchronize the driver and passenger temperature controls, so if I adjust the driver side, the passenger side also adjusts. Currently, when I change the temp, it only changes the driver side.

My 2013 E92 has an "ALL" button on the passenger dial, which syncs the two up. How the heck do I do this on my F32? I've read through the manual and can't find the answer... I must be totally overlooking it so please forgive the ignorance.

So I just did some googling and apparently what I am asking is not possible on the F series. Which is fcking ridiculous. Why would BMW REMOVE this feature from newer models? Dumb.

Agreed it's silly not having this feature.

Congrats on the new ride though! Feel free to post some pics.

Because they MAX button took it's place?

This happened with the E90/92 as well.

You synchronize by adjusting both temp knobs to the same temp setting 🤔

Thanks! I had been looking for this car for a while. I also have a 2013 335i and wanted a newer model, specifically another coupe with xDrive and a manual. After doing some research, I learned that 2020 is last year BMW offered this. After 2020, they dropped the manual from the 4-series, except the M4 and when you opt for xDrive on the M4, you are stuck with an automatic. I did briefly consider an M4 rear wheel drive, but wasn't a huge fan of the newer styling (nor the price tag). A local dealer did have a 2020 M4 with a manual, but I really wanted the xDrive.

So I had pretty narrow requirements. Eventually I found this one at a dealer, in the exact color I wanted and with the M-sport package, still under warranty and overall in great shape. It has a build date of May 2020, so it may very well be the LAST one BMW built with this combination!

I haven't had a chance to take any proper pictures of it yet -- just recently had PPF and ceramic coating done and not supposed to wash it for two weeks. It also has summer-only rubber so I've hung onto my E92 (running winter tires) and left this one in the garage. I'm about to put the E92 up for sale now that the weather is getting warmer and I can drive the new one.

Here are a couple of pics from when we picked it up from the dealer in December.

Chances are if there was no option to adjust the temperatures separately we'd see just as many complaints, if not more. First World Problem.

Wrong answer. Sync got added to the E9x with the LCI. That’s why people are surprised when they find the F3x doesn’t have it.

Very nice she looks great! We have a very similarly spec'd car I have a 2019 though. You even have the icon head lights which are a must imo.

Added or removed isn't important. What's important is that there no "right way".

The sync option in other F series cars is a simple button when depressed allows for 1 knob to control the zones on both sides.

Simply pressing the button again allows both side controls to operate independtly.

BTW, an attempt was made to put an F series climate control with sync in the F30 as an experiment to see if the sync would work properly. Yes, the dimensions were different. It was simply an experiment years ago.

Sync didn’t work. Everything else pretty much did though.

Well I set my drivers side at 60 and the passenger at 80. Let them fight it out.
