I agree, anywhere in that ballpark is an awesome deal.

It wasn't invoice +$740 out the door. There was still tax, title and registration on top of that. Are you all really paying invoice +$500 including tax?? If so, I am now REALLY depressed.

Tax and reg fees are flat regardless of the vehicle brand (well not tax, but same tax rate), so as long as your dealer fees aren't outlandish then you're fine. |

Not sure if these numbers are in the right places and correct but some insight would be helpful. I took a pic of the dealers printed out work sheet and these are the numbers I see. I don't see dealer invoice price on this sheet.
Price you got: $44,408.77 (says cash sale price)?? Dealer Name/ Location: BMW of Bloomfield- New jersey Year/Model: 2013 328i xDrive MSRP: $48,925.00 Invoice: $(unknown)?? Options/Packages: sport line, premium, navigation, lighting Cash Down/ **MSD: $3,354 with NY 8.865% tax, bank fee, and DMV fees / inquired about msd, would have been additional 3500. ($6500, Did not do it.) Negotiated Price: $31,801.25 (says residual)?? *Money Factor: 0.00127 *Lease term/Miles: 10,000/36 months *Lease Payment: $447.00 Other Pertinent Information: *MSD side note. Couldn't justify $6500 on a lease. Yes I know you get it back but IMO you don't because all I am going to do is release with BMW again. Basically that additional $3500 will never be in my pocket again. Would have dropped my payment to $417 a month. So how did I do? I feel like I put too much down up front. Looks like to me that got me for about an additional $700 in fees that they would not budge on. Trust me I tried and tried and tried. Lol. Are these numbers accurate? |

Whew!! Glad we cleared that up! The term "out the door" is what threw me off but I understand now. Now off to log in to MyBMW.com to see if I'm out of Order Received status yet! |

Price you got: $47,240 (ED Pricing)
Dealer Name/ Location: Life Quality BMW Bay Ridge Year/Model: 2013 335i MSRP: $50, 830 Invoice: $46,740 Options/Packages: Heated Front Seats, Parking Assistant, M-Sport, Driver Assist Package & Technology Package. Cash Down: $18,000 + $1000 BMWFS Rebate Negotiated Price: $46,990 Other Pertinent Information: My trip (flight and hotel) were pretty much paid for due to a last minute "return on an investment". Waddaya guys think... pretty fair deal? Last edited by Infamouz627; 06-01-2013 at 08:43 PM.. |

Someone please help me figure this out. This would be my first ever car. This is the quote that I'm getting, but the monthly payment is just not making sense to me since when I input it into a lease calculator I get a much different number. Any help would be extremely appreciated!
Price you were quoted: $40,475 (Through USAA) Dealer Name/ Location: BMW of Macon, Macon GA Year/Model: 2013 328i sedan MSRP: $42,775 Invoice: $39,905 Options/Packages: Technology Package, Driver Assistance Package Negotiated Price: $40,475 - $750 conquest credit - $1500 USAA Rebate ($2250 total rebate) Other Pertinent Information: -36 months at 10k a year residual is 65% -Money factor buy rate 0.00127 -Acquisition fee at cost $725 -Doc fee $599 -Georgia Lease So with $2750 down for a total of $3859, Payment is $386/month I am very new to this so if someone could explain to me how he arrived at that number I would really appreciate it. |

Same thing happened to me and the difference was the dealership had a 500 dollar dealer fee baked into their calculation. Have you thought of doing multiple security deposits instead of a down payment? Thats what I did and here is an example Sale price 40475 Fees 1324 (acquisition plus doc fee) 2250 rebates money factor bought down with MSDs to .00078 3559 due at signing and payments of 409 a month. However, you will get the 3150 used as security deposits at the end of the lease. I am a financial advisor and I ran the numbers on these MSDs and the rate of return equates to an 8-10% tax free and risk free (unless BMW FS goes bankrupt) per year for the lease. You might pay more per month but you get that money back at the end of the lease. Definitely worth looking at. As for your problem though I can almost assure you their numbers include a dealer fee. Considering they have a 599 doc fee, you should argue that there shoudnt be a dealer fee on top of that. |

I'm dealer and got it straight from the bulletin that BMW sends to us. They are probably just telling you that to get you to buy the car now. Unfortunately, BMW has no real info on it on their website but I can promise you it is for the 2014 3 Series also

OCLOR: $599 "doc fee"...what the hell is that? What are they paying the secretary that is filing paperwork? $14/hr? Takes are at MOST 2 hours...You should agree to $28.

What matters is that when you run the numbers, the overall deal is solid and works for that person financially That's just my two cents from someone who got a good but certainly not great deal by this websites standards |
