Brake retrofit, soft pedal, should I code?
Hi.
I can find lots of info about M performance brake coding, but I'm from Europe and I just upgraded my brakes from stock 312/300 to 340(gray brembo)/330(bosch) and have very soft pedal. Feels not very good. Should I code anything? Like "SPBR", or anything elase that would improve brake pedal feel? Thank you for any help. P.s: retrofit was not done at dealer so no coding was done |

I've upgraded my brakes recently and had similar mushy brake feel. I took it to a shop where the bled the system and supposedly reset the ABS system. Try that.

Try SBPR.
If it doesn’t satisfy you, revert to original and try the ABS bleeding. |

Did this and coding isn’t the issue, you still have air in the lines.
I used a power Suction bleeder, not a pressurize the master type bleeder, and that resolved it.
