Steve Chester, you can't buy these for £75 on ebay! The sets on ebay are zinc coated fittings and/or clear coating.
These are still £95 plus shipping direct from Goodridge.

You're selling something "second hand" with next to no discount that you could go and buy a set online for.
£60 is a reasonable offer for these.

Second hand usually denotes something previously used, these have not been used, brand new in the packet with the original receipt.
I'd say over £30 off is a healthy 'discount'. Are you actually interested in these or just come here to troll?

I finally got round to fitting one of these on the front offside on my car a week ago.
I have to say they looked a bit flimsy compared to the original but thought hey, they are Goodrich, they will be fine. A few days later my traction control stability warning light came on,with a warning to park the car and contact a BMW dealership. Worryingly to say the least, regardless I limped home intending to check things out later. On Sunday I thought the issue with the warning light and the brake hose change was a bit of a coincidence so jacked the car I and removed said offside wheel. The brake hose had failed and brake fluid had been leaking down the hose and onto the front roll bar ! Fortunately I still had the original brake hose and refittted it and bleed the brakes. Needless to say I will not be fitting what I suspect are not Goodrich brake hoses but cheap copies sold to me on this forum. The seller has not responded to my pm to return my pm,hence this post. |
