Wassup y’all. So I have a 2018 F30/340i. I’m interested in the GTS OLED tail lights. In doing some research, I’ve noticed that the price ranges from 400 to 800. I was under the impression they were all made my VLAND. If I am incorrect, please let me know. If I am correct, why does Kies for example have it marked up To 600 and another vendor has what looks to be the same for 389.00. Are there different makers of this OLED GTS light or are vendors just marking up the same light to whatever the hell they want…? I meaaaan, if it’s all the same why am I spending 200 more for the same exact thing? SMH.

lol, the difference you are paying is for name and trust. obviously kies is US based, and it's trustworthy, so if anything happens to the light, you just ship it back and get a new one. kies will deal with the vendor directly, not you

on the other hand, i assume $389 is from aliexpress? if something is wrong, would the seller take care of it? or you just take it to VLAND?

So now I need some opinions! Lol: my 340 is white… im not sure what shade I should get.. I know it’s a matter of preference. My car came with the blackline package from the factory. Im contemplating the red or the smoked/blackline option. I believe the smoke and blackline is the same thing just different name!

Any opinions y’all? Red or smoked/blackline?!

If your car already has dark tints, grills, badges, and the whole black/white stormtrooper look going on I'd say do the black version. If your car doesn't have a ton of mods or black accents go red. Red definitely seems more OEM+ while the black goes better with a heavily modified car. Personally, I'd go red. Looks cleaner/classier IMO.

here is white with m performance tail light, note that the color is alpine white (due to no pearl shine). alpine white and mineral white looks almost the same under sunlight, it looks different when it's dark as the mineral white will shine due to its pearl while the alpine white is just plain white (boring in my opinion )

alpine white vs mineral white metallic is very similar to jet black vs saphire black metallic
