Wondering if this would work with 6WB (fully digital cluster) and what benefits it would provide. I'm sure it's out there but I haven't even seen what the M digital cluster looks like.

Reviving this. Just ordered the F80 KOMBI, getting coded by RemoteBimmer. I’m 6mt non-HUD so should be straight forward but will update. I’ve pegged the 160 speedo so curious to see if that’s operational above but i don’t blame anyone for not testing it out. But haven’t seen anyone do any redline pulls yet

Seems this SLI Emulator is feeding Bus Info to the Combi/HUD

Do dig into more info before committing and see if this is really the parts that you need. I only here to help locating the parts name via picture.

I’ll be the test subject for this, placed my order this weekend should be receiving the SLI emulator this week will post back with updates once installed.

So sad day unfortunately is does not work to show drive. I do get the speed limit information but unfortunately no drive feature.
Would extra coding be needed?

Hello no you do not I have a 2017 and put a cluster form a 2016 no problem.
