FWIW... my last Blackstone report (very recently) suggested that I may run an additional 1k miles on my oil without consequence... not 5k miles.
As a reminder, I run 5k OCI religiously. In other words, according to Blackstone... around 6k would be logical for my set up. N26 running Liqui Moly SAE 5w40 I think 10k is too high. Dont get me wrong... if your not in for the long haul - let the next guy worry about it! It will be interesting to see who is still around these parts in a few years time. My car has sentimental value and will be around a long time regardless... eventually retiring to a weekend/road course/track car. Im kind of excited to see the problems this body encounters along the way... by way of my own and others experiences on the forum. So far, I believe the F30 to be very solid overall. Even-though I have a pre 2015 N20 with supposed timing chain failure. We shall see! |

7-8K is a good call.. Usually I tell people to change oil in between the service interval. So basically do one oil change yourself and then next one when car tells you to do it.
