How did that happen?!

I registered on here with my mind made up on an esoril blue 330d touring msport with heated seats, comfort access and folding mirrors.

I have now somehow ended up ordering a:
Mineral grey 340i touring m sport
msports plus package hk stereo, big brakes, sun glass etc
Orbit grey 19inch wheels
pro nav
comfort access
folding mirrors
front arm rest
extended storage!

In all seriousness though this site is a gold mine of information and very useful. (If a little expensive!)

cheers!

Just seen a 335i for the same price/spec/similar miles to a 330d. So I may well be following a not dissimilar path!

Nice car on it's way to you, post some pics!

Thanks all. Just used bmw online services and at present its 11 weeks away!!
They have requested an expedited build though so we will see. Does anyone know how much time that can knock off?

Choosing the spec was bad enough but THIS wait is a nightmare! I have watched just about anything on youtube with 340i in the title so am craving more now.

Well done.
The 340i members are getting a bit more popular.
Although i think it will be hard to change the diesel lovers to petrol due to MPG.

I'm quite surprised as mine is around 30mpg & loving it

335's are not much above so i read.

Congratulations, you are in the same boat as me...I cannot keep off YouTube looking for clips - unfortunately there aren't enough of them!

Great spec, I managed to resist the temptation of more options and thought about what I would really use on a day to day basis...plus I'm a tight git!

Congrats.

Like you I was all set on a 330d (I actually ordered it) before reading this forum...l ended up with the 335d.

340 sounds like a hell of a car, I'm sure you won't regret upgrading!
