Lovely car. Don't worry too much on the mpg front, it will improve the more miles you put on. Assuming you don't hit 5k rpm each journey. Don't you have to run in the petrols like you do the oil burners?

By the way, you can have the digital speedo coded in to the black panel display if you have specced the black panel display.

Enjoy your new toy.

Brace yourself on the fuel front if you like to have some fun, I did 50 miles today and it averaged 19.2 mpg
At last, some real figures, that was around my overall average I my M135i probably a bit less actually .....

Thanks all. First day of the commute today and the reality of fighting for space and tight spaces hits home.

I really do wish people would just get put of my way as well so I can enjoy that engine a bit more!

As great as the HK system is it is often muted at the moment while I listen to the growl.

On another note has anyone found that their phone disconnects blu tooth when it's in the arm rest and the 12v socket in the cup holder seems bigger than normal and my charger doesnt work properly? The charger is fine in the one in the boot and rear seat.

I think there are some rose tinted glasses on here when it comes to 340i mpg figures, either that or a few Miss Daisies

"P.S sorry to the guy in the 525d who clearly though he would show this brand new 320d series a clean pair of heals. It wasn't a 320d after all was it my friend... "

Looks great and in the best colour too! Lots of F31s on here now - I'm sure we out number the saloons!

Looks superb - great choice.

The cold/warm dial between the dials is just simply the airflow from these vents. It allows you to have cold air to your face while keeping the cabin at a warmer temperature. I love it and hate when I drive cars that don't have it as I can never keep the cabin warm while having a nice cold blast to my face!

So best to set the temperature dial to your preferred temperature (I go for 21) and then adjust the dial between the vents to blue if you want colder air to your face.
