Différent country (belgium) but same issue here. Online entertainment unable to search or download music, just can play what's already present on disk. Has been like that for at least a week. Displays a message saying 'currently unavailable'. If not solved quickly, will contact my dealer to require a free subscription extension. At the price this service is sold, such a long unavailability is not acceptable. Would my company do the same, we'd be in the news already.

I have had an email from bmw about this
Thanks for your email about Online Entertainment. I’m afraid that we’re currently experiencing an issue with this feature, resulting in a loss of service. This has been reported to the highest point of escalation at BMW. However, a temporary work-around is available, by using your mobile device. Please note that this “work-around” will require a compatible mobile device, a USB connection and will use your mobile data. I can confirm that once the issue is resolved, I’ll be looking into compensatory measures to be applied to your account due to this temporary loss of service. I’d like to apologise for any disappointment or concern this maybe causing you and I can only ask for your continued patience at this time. In the meantime, I’d recommend updating the services in your car periodically to implement the “fix” when it’s issued. Not sure if this works, will try later on. I'm also not sure how to update the services in the car, anyone got any ideas? |

I've just tested this fix and it works fine, I connected my phone to the USB port in central armrest storage and shared the Internet on the phone via USB and all good, I can search and download music again.

I was experiencing problems at the end of february like the rest of you were. It has been up and running for a few weeks but today there seems to be problems again. It wont search for any music on deezer and just says "time out"
Anyone else??

Driving home last night OE was not downloading. Today it has completely disappeared from the I Drive menu!

Picked mine up from the workshop today (sensor replacement). No app’s showing & Connecteddrive tonight still shows the car in the workshop with doors open but obviously now at home Anyone got any feedback from BMW?

Sat Nav voice / iphone app not working
Ive been having issuew with voice/text entries for sat nav journeys not being found at all. she will not recognise a word i say for any destination. also the App is shoing as connected to the car a few days ago. yet still shows previous journeys.
