Nah the PSDZdata version has nothing to do with it, your really using esys to extract the file. Do you want to post up your fsc file (non converted version)? You'll need to zip it to attach it to a post and tell me your VIN.

I've successfully installed the 2015-2 maps, version checked, but at no point was I asked for the code I generated. The maps seem to work perfectly, any suggestions? Have I missed something?

In my case, I purchased a code that covers 2014, 2015 & 2016. Since I entered the code for the 2014-1 update, 2014-2, 2015-1 & 2015-2 never asked me to enter the code again.
My goal now is to not have to purchase again for 2017 so I'm trying to figure this out but I have an E60. I have to figure out how to get the 1B FSC file but I cannot use my Kcan\Dcan cable from what I read so far.

You have 2 options

a) Find a coding person near you. Take your car to them, the coder will connect to your car and be able to generate a code. <I would expect most coders to do this for free>

b) Search on the Internet. You should be able to buy maps FSC code (with your specific VIN) for about £30-£50. Plenty of online vendors selling them.

You only need the FSC file in the tools directory not the base64 one.

OK got that now, I've plugged USB into car and it said there was an update, I clicked start update, there is no progress bar? and so far it hasn't asked for a code?

Strange you should get asked for the code and then it starts updating.

Yes used the donor NBT VIN number to generate FSC, but not getting to the point when it wants the code, going to format the USB and try again.

No failed again, going to try a different USB stick now
