B48 320i Exhaust Mod/Upgrade

Hi,

Has anyone upgraded/modded their exhausts on their F30 B48 (LCI) 320i?

The stock exhaust is nice but just not loud enough. I am not looking for anything too crazy, something like the m-performance exhaust I have seen on other cars would be nice. No droning, but there when I put my foot down.

Thanks,

Abs

I have a muffler delete with catless downpipes, previously when I only had the muffler delete it was great, sounds really good and very little to no drone unless I'm in eco pro
I have videos on my Instagram @glacier.f30
Cost $350 but that was since I went with a custom exhaust y pipe to quad tips on my n26

I have a catless DP on my 320 b48 and I’m going to delete muffler soon. Should be loud and aggressive!

Nice. Did the catless DP make a big difference to the exhaust sound? (i.e. is it louder now? did it add burbles irrespective of the MGF?)

Not big, but yes there is a difference for sure. Louder but not much. And yes burbles appeared, but they are very lite and not constant. With MGF they become constant and louder of course.

Not b48, but I have a full OEM 340 exhaust (Non-MPE) that I plan on fitting onto my catless 328i.
Will make a thread once fitted. Just waiting for new bodykit with dual-exit diffuser to arrive.

Excited to see how much of the 340 exhaust will fit onto the 328 without any major issue. Also what difference there is from a stock 328 to 340. Will probably open up the first muffler and modify it, depending on how it sounds stock.

Will also get soundclips before each modification.
If anyone has any experience with fitting 340 exhaust on to 328, let me know!

Watched the vids on your insta. Sounds great! Love the burbles. Did your car burble even before the catless downpipe? I'm really considering just a muffle delete as it is the most cost effective way to extract good exhaust note.

Nice. Please post a vid if you can once you have done the muffler delete. Would be nice to get an insight on what the b48 320i sound like.

Before the catless with just a muffler delete I'd get very light burbles but I have the n26 which had two cats, I've heard the b48s burble like crazy w just a muffler delete

I'm planning on getting the Remus catback. The M Performance is way too expensive for an axleback system.

Finally I have muffler delete! Now it’s straight pipe exhaust. Catless DP and no muffler.

Thank you! So with just a muffler delete you get gurgling and small burbles almost like factory, especially in eco pro, but with a catless downpipe and a tune you get the gunshots and super loud burbles
