North America Maps have emended Speed Limit Data, but unless car has Option 8TH Speed Limit Info, you cannot display this in Instrument Cluster / HUD.

Not sure on 08 E9x. Is it DVD based (dedicated slot in dash) or hard drive based navigation?

Form Nav Screen, select Option button on iDrive Controller, then Scroll Down and select Display Nav version. What does it show as current map?

I'm afraid that there doesn't appear to be an Option button. The original DVD is part number "65 90 0 431 724". Google tells me that BMW North American Map DVD Professional might be what I'm looking for, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if I need a code to go with it or not.

So you have CCC Navigation System and need North America PROFESSIONAL Map DVD's. 2015 was the final version as BMW AG announced it was End-Of-Life.

Well, the bigger hope is that the updates are actually Incorporated in 2017-2 whenever it is released.

Australia EVO is still 2016-2, but MOVE, ROUTE, PREMIUM and NEXT are at 2017-1.
