Hi everyone,

General question... I've been going around in circles all week trying to find still-working copies of esys and a launcher and tokens that aren't expired and all that jazz.

If I just pay BimmerUtility the $100, does that take care of all of the above and make it a whole lot simpler to get up and going for coding my '15 435i convertible?

I don't mind spending the money if it's the simplest route.

I used ESys back in the days before Tokenmaster started messing with us. Then I switched to Bimmercode. It does everything I need.

That's the app on iOS, right? I was thinking about that one too, but I just bought an ENET Cable, don't really want to get a bluetooth ODB reader too.

No need for the BT reader since you already have an ENET cable. Just get an Ethernet adaptor for your phone (certainly available as Ethernet-Lightning for iPhone and I believe Ethernet to USB C for Android). Works much faster than a BT OBD adaptor and supports all the Bimmercode functions.

Well, finally got esys + launcher pro working, reading, and coding my car. Yay me.

Old token from TokenMaster in link below video. Limits you to older models like F and E until around 2019. By the way, you only need Esys token for FDL coding. Not for flashing or programming, for which you only need Esys.

Do you then use E-Sys to edit .ncd files and code it with BimmerUtility?

I do not have BimmerUtility. For FDL coding I use Bimmercode, for ECU programming and VO coding I use Esys.
