Sure we are all looking forward to some sort of easing in the weeks months ahead.

With that in mind, i must admit dying to get out in the car to a bit of a drive. So thought, as we never got around to scheduling this meet, thought it might be worth re igniting the post to perhaps have something to chat about and look forward to, of course restrictions permitting.

Agreed, would welcome a meet up when we can...interested to look at those rear arches you must have by now

Fortunately my work means I do have to travel and having some reasonable drives. Looking after mother in law is also a weekly visit your way, which is great as the holibobs aren't allowed yet

Lets see what happens, but we could have a plan in place anyway?
Lol Nearly there... i dropped them a note this morning. Getting bit anxious now, feel like a kid at Christmas..

I bet thats nice breaking up the day, just a change of scenery would be nice.

Not sure of the next milestone is lockdown easing... does mid May sound familiar? So guess guided by that.

Thats good... Not had that luxury... can't wait for the kids to go back next week.. thank God 🙏

Walls definitely have been closing in but looking ahead more now.

I could be tempted with this.. Subscribed.

I'm Cambridgeshire so could cruise with Abzynthe for the drive down to meet you folks..

Weather, covid and life responsibilities pending, though.

I’d be interested too, shift work depending. I’m in Suffolk on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border.

Certainly enjoy some of the North Norfolk coastal runs

237miles yesterday... Kings Lynn, Edgware, Hertford, Cambridge and home plus 4 client building project meetings, long day but it's only twice a month.

Looking forward to May coming....if someone doesn't sink the boat!

Nice trip.. sounds like a long day.

I must admit do sort of miss my regular trips to my office in South Wales. Probably not for long once i get back into it.

I hear you, do feel things could quite quickly go pete tong if people start relaxing too much.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Also eager to get out. Unlike many of you though, I didn't have the stress of kids (not living with me), just the extreme boredom of not seeing anyone other than my gf for the past year.
Might make my way although it's a 3 hours drive....

Ah, using Norwich as an end point it now says just over 2 hours/113 miles from Canary Wharf - taking Abzynthe's advice I should be there in 1.5 hours

Pretty straightforward drive from Canary Wharf, once you get on the M11 to Norwich. 👍

Just to throw some dates out there. In accordance with restrictions - Max of 30 people for outdoors from the 17th May....

What does the group think of a 22nd or 29th of May?
