Lovely e-bike.
I made the switch from analogue to e-bike about 5 years ago after test riding a Specialized Levo (and bought one shortly after!)
Agree they make everything more fun.
This is my second e-bike now.

Always fucking windy!

Every time I go out it’s windy.

Today I did a 50km loop where the wind never seemed to be with me. Including a 15km run where it was head on! It was relentless !

Anyone run a TT bike? Looking to get into time-trialling.

A friend did the 'amateur worlds' ITT this year and their average speed on the course wasn't a huge amount more than I can do on the road bike (albeit with aero wheelset). They came 7th out of a field of about 25 in their age category.

Made me think a tilt at the over-65 ITT might be on for the next Worlds in 2027 which are held in Haute-Savoie - quite fancy some rainbow stripes, even if they're the equivalent of an M-Lite

This is something I've always been interested in but never pursued, I think its a great thing to get into for health and keeping that competitive edge, I can see this being something Ill take part in at some point.

If you have a local club that runs a weekly TT in the summer months thats ideal, my closest is about 10 miles away.

Also interested in this, also makes it a very different bike.
Rubble offer some good value I think.

Rubble feels like what I ride over on most of the roads round here

But yes, Ribble have some interesting kit plus these seem to be quite a lot of lightly used second hand bikes on Ebay and the like. Delivery date from Ribble is mental....

Most of what I've seen is rather ambitiously priced these days, and seems to be more triathlon orientated than just pure TT with those hideous storage boxes fore & aft that make it look like a bike designed by a toddler. You're spending well over £3K for the most basic of entry level builds with 105 and bog standard wheels - though I could replace those with my own Campag Boras in the short term.

Might start off with a set of clip on aero bars for the road bike and see how I feel about riding in a tuck first before splurging silly money.
