When passenger uses their foot to push open the door when getting out instead of just using the damn door handle and pushing the door open with their hand.

When passenger uses their whole hand to shut the door on the pillar and leave giant greasy hand prints.

These two drive me nuts

OMG I saw an F82 M4 at the gym the other day that looked like it had never been washed. I had no idea what color the wheels were because they were so black with dirt and dust. So pathetic.

Ugh. I yell at my kids about this constantly. It’s just easier now to roll the window down before they get in/out so there is no window. It’s almost time for top always down soon anyway.

People putting down automatics or manuals based on the car they happen to drive.

Also, regarding door slamming:
I'm not a door slammer, and I'd probably say something if someone slammed my door, but do you guys think occasional door slamming would really cause any permanent damage?

My wife's car has soft close doors and I just close those normally. There seems to be a myth going around that soft close doors must be closed using the soft-close mechanism which is completely false based on how the mechanism works. Maybe the door slamming thing is based on the same type of misconception?

When you slam a door, you're evenly applying forces all around on a hinge capable of holding hundreds of pounds and a door latch capable of holding the door closed in a side impact collision. I feel like the most likely thing to be damaged would be loosened/buzzing interior trim pieces more than anything.

Agreed. Huge pet peeve.

Outside of a female and her purse... do not tote your bullshit inside my cabin. Toss it in the trunk, where it belongs.

That would rattle my cage. From a fingerprint standpoint as well as the glass flexing back and forth.

Cringe worthy!

Personally I am not worried about the damage, but hearing the slam from the driver seat is just... not pleasant

My kids putting their dirty feet on the back of my seat.... granted my son is autistic so he cant help it sometimes my poor boy, regardless drives me up the wall.... And door slammers are right up there too.

Last but not least, cowrokers who get in the passenger seat and move it all the way back and recline as far as they can, as soon as they get out I move the passenger seat to be exactly the same position as mine, i'm ocd about that.

Yes! my front seats need to line up too and the head rest height as well, or it just looks wrong from the outside. For your son, you should buy a cover for your back seats, then you can wash the cover every couple months.

Trying to open the passenger door using the electric window switch. My sister in law did this once and broke the switch, obviously - and no, I'm not making this up, she really is that daft

People in front who just drive through every puddle spraying your car in grit and dirty water, never once steering around them,,, these morons are the reason front facing heat seeking missiles should never have been banned from cars

I don't think I'll ever understand the slamming door thing. Which probably means I'm the type that slams my doors lol. I mean what happens when people close it "too hard?"

My pet peeve is people that don't drive with at least some level of purpose. There are too many people on the road taking Sunday drives during Monday rush hour

this. I hate to be one of those guys, but I guess I am. especially with the prevalence of videos (YouTube) and folks saying it by mashing the two words together, makes me cringe.

I will admit, I just started pronouncing Porsche correctly myself!

Surprised no one has said this: passengers putting their feet anywhere but the floor. I don't care if we're in this car for a 15 hour road trip, or how uncomfortable you are. The dash is not made for resting your feet, nor is the seat.
