Odd transmission behavior zf8 340i HELP!!

Hello everyone.

I’m taking this problem here after I’ve encountered weird things with my 8AT RWD 340i (2016). I let the car sit for a little while, while I was at school. It was started every so often just in case. When I came back, I decided to do my transmission fluid change with the new pan. Followed videos, and I think I did it right. For some reason, the car is now shifting weird. I only had a jb4 on before so I took it off thinking that was the cause. At 55k miles, it’s weird what’s happening now. Sometimes it doesn’t shift, or is rough on shifting, sometimes it shifts smooth. Currently have the stock tune on the car. I also have bm3 in the mail, maybe I should flash that?? Has anyone had any similar problems with their zf8 trans?? Thanks!!

Try doing trans adaptations reset and see how it goes.

Shifts smooth, downshifts so bad. This b58 is a nightmare.

Did you double check you completely filled the trans with fluid?

Sounds like an improper fluid change.

Sounds like you didn't get enough trans fluid in. What procedure did you follow? Please list steps exactly.

Not enough fluid or you get dirt up in the valve body.
