If you want to fool the car into thinking that a seat belt is in use stick one of these into the receptacle end: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KXW7JCS...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

Or better yet, wear the seatbelt.

There are circumstances when defeating the chime is warranted, like when you've got a sack of groceries on the seat that causes the car to think it's occupied. If you're defeating the chime because you don't like wearing a seat belt though that falls into the category of idiotic, if not suicidal, behavior.

With a sack of groceries, you can still fasten the seatbelt. Unless you have a really huge package, you can still fasten the seatbelt. I could be wrong but I see no scenario for fooling the sensor unless you just don’t like wearing it.

I bought the car from an auction and I'm getting theses codes and the car is cranking but not starting so I want to see if the airbags and seatbelts are causing the car from not starting. I want to test them with a resistor before purchasing airbags and seatbelts

Resistance too high may indicate disconnected wires, as if that's the case the resistance is infinite. I doubt that would keep the car from starting, it should just cause dash warnings and limit how fast the car will go. Use this to view all of the individual codes, it will also give the most common reasons for them: http://bmwfault.codes/

The sack of groceries is on the unoccupied passenger seat, which is the cause of the chime

Battery safety terminal is deployed and is causing your no start. No resistors will help here.

Of course. But we were all barking up the wrong tree.
