Mine are actually the M4 ones which needed a bit of messing around to get them to fit. I got them from Stu at BMR. I beleive there are now genuine f32 ones but I don't know who sells them other than BMW...

It's a bit higher on the NVH scale than stock but I actually prefer it that way. It was too floaty before. I have the Sport Drive settings set up so that it does throttle advance in Sport Mode and Chassis in Sport+ That way I effectively have 3 driving modes: Normal - Nice and cruisy... Sport - More responsive but still comfortable.. Sport+ - Everything tightened up to the max. In all 3 modes the body-roll is substantially less and turn in is sharper with less front end dip. |

Hi Mate,
A few questions regarding the H&R springs. - where did you source them from - did Rencal complete the fitting - do you have before and pictures - do you know how many mm it was lowered changing to sport springs from M sport springs If you could help a fellow Brisbanite out it will be much appreciated. |

Hi from Somerset, UK. Mate, your car is fantastic!
I too have stolen some of your design cues for mine. I pick up a new 435 X Drive M Sport tomorrow (1 Sept) from the dealer and am whizzing straight up to Project X near Bristol to get them to fit a set of bespoke wheels almost exactly the same as yours. I've got them to powder coat them in a dark gun/anthracite. It has the carbon front splitter and rear spoiler as well as carbon door mirrors and the black M4 kidneys. I'm tempted to lower it but think I'll get a feel for it for a little while before I decide. The lowering and spacers certainly make it look nicely aggressive. Have you found it compromises the ride much? Tony |

Thanks mate.

Keen to see some pics with the new wheels too. The combination of the lowering springs and the 20" wheels definitely adds a little to the NVH but it also makes the car feel so much more planted and less floaty. I find that I can mitigate that by using it in comfort suspension mode when I'm not blasting it... |

Thank you.
As promised, here she is with the new wheels. Had a right old faff with the original wheels I'd spec'd. They didnt fit over the front calipers due to a lip on the inner surface of the wheel. Went for the ones below instead and I'm more than happy! More piccies here Will be looking at dropping it 20mm or so with a set of ACS coils. |
