New Brembo brakes and rotors

I just changed my front and my rear rotors and brakes to Brembo.

See the gaps and the touching points. The rear looks like my brakes is cutting my rotors. Is that normal?

I asked my mechanic to grease the guide pins, how can I check on it?

Cool. Got a relieve...

Also I changed the brake fluid too. Bites are much better.

Hawks pads are too expensive...

I just realized the pads were $200 total, while brembo rotors were $350... But I really like the results.

In terms of sliding pin, you will have to take it out to check. They are covered by plastic caps, you need a 8mm allen head to remove it.

That first picture of your rear pad/rotor does not look right. The pad should not be grinding up the inside edge of your rotor like that. Hard to tell if the pad isn't seated right, is wrong, or there is something odd with the rotor, but something isn't right there...

Let me check both sides tomorrow again. looks like pressing too hard on a edge

The rears in both of those pics don't look right. How far is the pad from the outside lip of the rotor? It shouldn't be dragging on the hub section.

It's normal. There will be a tiny untouched section on the outside diameter and then a much larger untouched section closest to the rotor hat. No brake state will get too close on either side.

Agreed. I edited my post to reflect the inner portion of the rotor. The build-up on the pad and wear on the rotor is unusual, like the rotor center hub section or the pad itself is too large, or the pad is seated too close to the center of the rotor .

It kinda looks like there is excess grease and or it's contaminated the brake pad surface

I have the blue Brembo m-sport rotors + EBC red pads, and for me, the rear pads have a slight gap (~1/32") between the edge of the pad surface and that hub radius that you are dragging on.

It looks like the rotors are slightly larger than the calipers were meant to be married with.

I got the ceramic: Front Ceramic P06088N rear ceramic P06072N

I was work from home the last few days and didn't drive much. I came to the office which is about a good 50 mins drive each way and will see tomorrow with any differences.

I checked yesterday, It is sitting right. Since the rear is smaller, so looks like its pressing on the rotor more. Will update pictures tomorrow

Together with the 340 front and 330 rear discs everything should be fine.

I got these.
Front Rotor 340mm
(09.C398.13 Drill/Slot)

Rear Rotor 330mm
09.C117.11

After driving for about 100 miles looks good now. There is a hollow space and the brakes pads aren't falling down into it. The cut is not that obvious now.

This is ceramic which is louder than OEM which has the grinding sound. As for braking, I don't know if I changed the brake fluid that causes at 2/3 it starting to brake hard instead of steping around 1/3. Obviously the braking is slightly more.

I was not talking about the "X" version of the Brembo pads. I put the "normal" ones in and there is no noise at all for the last 30000 Km.
