LED Headlights (Pic Request)
Can an owner of US spec car post a pic of LED headlights in different light modes. As in:
- lights off, AE on - parking lights on - low beams on - hi beams on I'm trying to see if I want this option. Thanks in advance. |

I have a 435i w LEDs, will post pics tonight
My perception after 5 days of driving. Better lighting at night, white, not blue or yellow light. Automatic high beam very useful. |

Yes they are 4 lights
I took the pictures in pairs first 2, parking lights on, first click on switch second 2, drl on, 2nd click on switch third couple, lights on last 2, high beam on Sorry for the quality, difficult to take pics of due to: 1- you can see the flickering of the light, LEDs run on hz 2- high intensity was blinding, no way to take with iphone, pulled out the family camera. Good pics will require a digital SLR (do not have one) |

Big thanks mags, I appreciate you going out of your way to hook up me and bimmerpost with some pics of exactly what we're dealing with.. I must say that I like what I'm seeing. I really like that side markers are kind of "muted". LED lights must be mine.

as far as useless vs needed vs vanity. It is matter of perspective and that is what is nice about this forum. Some people want M brakes and some people say that 650 for a colored caliper when they do not track the car is useless. Some people want MPPK to keep warranty and others want JB4 Some want nav, and some people say that you end up with a bigger screen that is from day 1 inferior to what google maps, your iphone or navigon provides you. For me LEDs, yes they look nice (but 90% of people have no idea LED vs Xenons) but if you live anywhere near woods (deer), if you drive sub optimally lit areas/highways, you will be thankful for the extra saftey and visibility. The guy asked for a picture and I provided him with a picture. I also appreciate everyones comment. Everyone have a good week, relax and |

Were these available for 2014 F30? or only F32?
If yes for F30, can they be retro fit? Any coding needed? If available, any idea what a pair of these bad boys cost? Thx. |

These are not available on the F30. However, it looks to me like they use the same housings, so a retrofit may be possible. Could be pretty expensive though.

I didn't know the F30 didn't offer these. Made me happier that I ordered a 4 now.

So at the end of the day, what is the price differential between those and Xenon?
