Marinetraffic is great, but that site as well as all the other vessel tracking sites will stop updating position when the ship is out of range, which in my experience was any time the ship was not near a coastline. If you want to take your obsessiveness to the next level, you can purchase a satellite tracking subscription to get constant updates on your ship's position. Be warned... it's addictive and not particularly productive. Like watching paint dry in slow motion.

If you are interested, I found the cheapest deal to be on fleetmon.com, where I got 2 weeks of tracking 1 ship for $16. Enjoy

Hard to tell but serenity ace is at Bremerhaven. It's not the ship in the middle but the one off to the right.

Some other good news is that the ship seems to be running about a day early.

Is there a ship scheduled to leave SA around end of April going to the East Coast?

I found MOL Presense scheduled to leave for Bremerhaven on 4/23 but can't seem to find ships going to East Coast.

My "potential" 340xi 6MT is scheduled to finish production in Rosslyn on 4/21 so I'm wondering when it may get here.

You don't need to find a ship that leaves Bremerhaven. First find a ship that heads to the US or Bremerhaven. If you finish 4/23, expect to be at port on 4/30. Ship by 5/15ish

No concern, I got a MT.

I believe it was only like 50 engines being affected with a production of last year.

Serenity Ace is scheduled to leave in 4 hours. Hard to tell from the Webcam if the door is closed on the ship since its night.

So if I'm lucky, the car may get on the Cattleya Ace, scheduled to leave Durban on May 17th and arrive at Bayonne,NJ on June 7th.
If I'm not as lucky, the car may be on Glovis Clipper leaving Durban May 7th and going to Bremerhaven first and not getting to US until late June/early July.

Very confused. Just called 1800 number and they keep saying it's going to arrive on May 13th to the port. By that time the boat will be in California.

They also keep saying that it will arrive to port Charleston but according to the voyage, it never stops in Charleston

Hopefully there system is just incorrect.

You spoke to a person (as opposed to the automated system)? The automated system is garbage. And you're 100% sure your car is on the Serenity Ace?

I know for me, they didn't give me 100% accurate info (they told me my ship was going straight to Baltimore from SA but it actually went to NYC first and then back down to Baltimore) but they did get the dates mostly right. My ship arrived a day later than estimated.

I think your best bet is to rely on the schedule posted on the molroro site. It was on point for me for the most part.

You've got to be unloading at Brunswick, right? Only port that makes much sense.

CA sent me this. Can you ask your CA to send this same picture of yours?

My ca told me that Even though it says port Charleston, it actually goes through Brunswick which is good news. But for some reason it still shows for him and a BMW genius that it arrives mid May.
