Got myself a 320d a few months ago and loving it, but one thing that I'm not too keen on is the horrible halogen headlights, so I'm thinking of changing the low beams and full beams to LED. Im pretty new to the whole modding/upgrading scene so sorry if Im asking some stupid and obvious questions but wanting to make sure I can make as little mistakes as possible.

I have been doing a bit of research on how I can do this but still need a bit of advice as alot of the guides other posts are either unclear or from American and I cant get some items to the UK.

First I was wondering if anyone knew that any of these would be best for full/low beams (if they would fit/if they're compatable, etc):

Finally, are there any UK laws that I need to keep in mind/is it even legal in the UK, and can this cause me to fail my MOT?

I would go with the full depo headlight replacements with led upgrade.

Lots lots of info on hear about the depo head lights.

I think coding is the best way to go. That way you know you will not have error issues.

Thanks for the reply, but I think im going to stick with just trying to change the H7 bulbs at the moment. That might be a future improvement when I have more money

Thanks, just had a quick read through. Cant seem to find the same sorta H7 that you had in your post and I cant get the ones you use as they dont deliver to the UK, this seems to be the best I can find:

It seems to be the smallest I can find and it has the canbus in it, do you think that will work?

I also found this one which seems similar but It doesnt say anything about canbus:

Read the last post in the thread? I don't see why they wouldn't ship from China to the UK.

That looks to be the same, and it does show a drive ballast.
