F30 LCI LED headlight coding

I have replaced my headlight on my car (2016 330 LED) and from what I was aware I needed to code in the new headlight, from my research most people said to simply using ista+ go through the service functions and find the headlight option but for some reason I cant seem to find it. Is anyone able to help or at least guide me in the right direction?

Under vehicle management - service functions - body— i can find only lighting which then offers ride height adjustment and teach in front light electronic turn signal... both I have tried and no difference.

Headlight itself if i connected once the car is running it functions fine until the car is turned off and turned back on and then it doesnt turn on at all.

Thanks

Please describe in more detail what you did.
Didn't the car have LED headlight before and you upgraded it now?
Or did you just change any lamps to LED?
If you changed the headlights it has to be coded.
For that i would recommend E-Sys.

You should reconsider having your email address as a username. Bots cruise the web looking for email addresses to bombard with spam.

The car was involved in an accident and so I replaced one of the LED headlights so i presume it need to be coded in as it isn’t functioning correctly as I mentioned above.

Also is there any guide on how to do it anywhere on E-sys? I will need to get E-sys first as I don't recall installing it

Try with a search for LED headlight retrofits. If there is coding, it would have been done and the relevant bits may stand out.

2nd on this one. You will need it I believe to code the headlights anyway. If there are threads that show the requirements for later year 328i or 335i, there may not be much if any difference in the entries that have to modified for this specific requirement on a 330.
