Possible 2018 328d xDrive Purchase

So a friend of mine out in CO has a 2018 328d xDrive sedan that is in the final month of the lease and for the past year he has been wanting me to buy it before returning it. He already picked up a f31 as a daily so fast forward to yesterday and I’m seriously considering it. Mileage is around 33k, very lightly modded and would be perfect for towing a pop up camper and trips as we travel frequently throughout the year.

E90 has 108k, f36 197k so this would ease the burden somewhat. Considering selling the CTS Coupe as we don’t drive it and the value has gone up on it with just about every vehicle out there now. Thoughts, opinions both neg/pos are encouraged. Only pic I have of it now as he’s on vacay atm.

How can anyone give an opinion when you don’t talk options or price? The only thing we know is that it’s grey and a diesel. Are you asking about pros/cons of diesels?

Sorry forgot to mention the main topics:

It’s a shadow sport, cold/tech packages, HUD but will speak to him more when he returns from vacation this coming week on other options. Price is about $28k.

Price seems a little high but it's a diesel so maybe they go for more? At this point, you will have to pay a minimum of what the buyout price is so if that is 28k, you can't really negotiate. With used car prices being crazy right now, if you need a car, this could be an acceptable deal.

Private party is around $31k with CPO being as high as $35k. Will talk with him more when he returns.
