2014 F34 GT 3rd Brake Light Rattle
Can anyone guide how to remove the light grey plastic panel cover that goes over the 3rd brake light unit for the 2014 F34 GT ? Are they held in place with clips? How to remove it without causing any damage ? It needs to be removed to get to the 3rd brake light assembly.
I suspect the window tint guy didn't do a good job reinstalling the 3rd brake light thus causing it to rattle when driving over rough roads. Tapping on the black 3rd brake light cover makes that loose plasticky sound as well. I'm thinking of removing it and give it a layer of felt tape where it needs. |

That panel will pop off using plastic trim removal wedges. The lamp is held in place with two sliding metal clips. Removing and reinstalling it is challenging, mostly because it's near impossible to see what you're doing. My guess is that the tint guy only got one clip in place. If it's correctly installed it won't rattle.
