2-Side marker > not active and jump to expert mode

Sorry, should have specified I have LCI adaptive leds so the corner (sidemarker?) lights are leds.

Bummer, was hoping it was just an RGB LED that they put behind a frosted lens. Oh wells

LCI: cannot enable LED front turn signals to be "ON" like side markers. They will turn off due to overheat protection.

i didnt want to start a new thread for my question so figured this is the best place.. i have a 2015 428i.. i coded a few things but i havent coded the side markers yet.. but yesterday while at a stop light i noticed my headlight reflection in the car in front of me.. i was in sport mode, and the amber markers were off... i then put it in comfort mode and back into automatic mode.. and the amber side markers turned on lol.. is that supposed to happen?

Hello everyone, I recently turned my side markers off and was wondering why my angel lights turn off once I switch the lighting. Anyone know how to enable them back? Thank you it's for a 2013 Activehybrid 3

ya ill try and get a video of it.. im still unsure when it does it.. as i just noticed it while driving.. but today at the muffler shop the car was on the rack and there was a mirror in front of it.. turned the car on and the angel eyes were on no side markers.. and when getting off the lift i noticed the side markers were then on lol.. ill have to play around with it and see when it does it exactly

Has anyone experienced any legal trouble in the US for turning the sidemarkers off? I've coded mine off and just realized that it is a legal requirement to have them on

I'm not sure how to code that, but that is the default behavior for US models. The sidemarkers only turn on when the headlights or parking lights are on. Somewhere in the coding parameters is the coding for when the headlight switch is turned off (or auto), but I don't know where it is.

It is a legal requirement to have white or amber and positioning. If you hav3 the LED eyebrows on, then you meet legality.
